Class Descriptions

Several different classes are available depending on skill levels. We offer Beginner classes up to Advanced gymnastics classes. We also offer classes in Tumbling only.

This program is designed to help develop you and your child’s awareness of their body and how it can move. It is also focused on developing their self-esteem and decision-making skills. During this class, a parent stays with the child through navigating equipment.

This program is an extension of Parents & Tots where they will additionally exercise the following skills:

  • Learn and develop problem-solving skills
  • Attend to a task from beginning to end
  • Further develop listening skills and language abilities
  • A sense of mastery and self-esteem

This program is designed to help develop children’s awareness of their body and basic gymnastic skills. Self-esteem and decision-making skills are also important.

Class Format:
  • Welcome at door – receive a group number
  • Meet in gymnasium
  • Warm-Ups/Basics/Stretching
  • Rotations through stations (8 min)
  • Culminating Activity

  • Vaulting

  • Rope Swing

This program helps beginner and intermediate gymnasts become more efficient in learning skills with understanding. Strength, agility, and flexibility are included.

Class Requirement:

Good cartwheel and round-off

Children:

7-13 years old (grouped by age/skill)

This program develops advanced gymnastics skills, body strength, and knowledge of all competitive apparatus. Olympic events are taught in-depth.

Walkover; working on handspring

Ideal for high school gymnasts or cheerleaders preparing for competitions.

This program develops tumbling skills for beginner to advanced participants. Designed for individuals/cheerleaders only.
